*DISCLAIMER: The Darkest Magic is the second book in a series and therefore the synopsis may contain spoilers for the previous book in the series.
Modern-day Toronto: Sisters Crystal and Becca Hatcher are reunited after reclaiming the Bronze Codex and narrowly escaping death. They have no one to trust but each other, and the only thing keeping them safe is the book that sent Becca's spirit to Ancient Mytica--the same book that their enemies would kill them for.

Ancient Mytica: Maddox grapples to keep his newly discovered powers under control, while the ruthless goddess Valoria hunts him down.

Modern-day Toronto: Farrell embraces his dark side as he unwittingly falls further under the spell of Markus, the mastermind leader of the nefarious Hawkspear Society, who will stop at nothing to find Crys and Becca--and the remarkable book in their possession.
I really love the entire Falling Kingdoms world.
A Book of Spirits and Thieves was a pleasant surprise, blending modern day with the ancient adventures in Mytica.
This second series by Morgan basically melds the amazing world of FK and blends it with a modern urban fantasy feel.
The Darkest Magic comes out next month and I am desperately waiting!!

Bestselling author Mary E. Pearson's combination of intrigue, suspense, romance and action make this a riveting page turner for teens.
The Remnant Chronicles is one of my all-time favorite series.
I was blown away by The Kiss of Deception and then floored by The Heart of Betrayal.
Mary E. Pearson is a phenomenal writer who's epic story just pulls me in.
This is one of my most anticipated releases and finales of the entire year!

*DISCLAIMER: The Fate of the Tearling is the third and final book in a series and therefore the synopsis may contain spoilers for the previous books in the series.

The thrilling conclusion to the New York Times bestselling Tearling trilogy.
In less than a year, Kelsea Glynn has transformed from a gawky teenager into a powerful monarch. As she has come into her own as the Queen of the Tearling, the headstrong, visionary leader has also transformed her realm. In her quest to end corruption and restore justice, she has made many enemies—including the evil Red Queen, her fiercest rival, who has set her armies against the Tear.

To protect her people from a devastating invasion, Kelsea did the unthinkable—she gave herself and her magical sapphires to her enemy—and named the Mace, the trusted head of her personal guards, Regent in her place. But the Mace will not rest until he and his men rescue their sovereign, imprisoned in Mortmesne.

Now, as the suspenseful endgame begins, the fate of Queen Kelsea—and the Tearling itself—will finally be revealed (via Goodreads).

I don't have words.
This is hands down my most anticipated book of 2016.
Love doesn't begin to express what I feel for this series.
It's political, violent and romantic.
It's smart, complex and unpredictable.
It's freaking amazing.
If you haven't read The Queen of the Tearling yet, PLEASE do.
The final installment of the trilogy comes out in June and I for one, cannot wait!

For eighteen-year-old Gideon Blake, nothing but death can keep him from achieving his goal of becoming a U.S. Army Ranger. As it turns out, it does.
Recovering from the accident that most definitely killed him, Gideon finds himself with strange new powers and a bizarre cuff he can't remove. His death has brought to life his real destiny. He has become War, one of the legendary four horsemen of the apocalypse.
Over the coming weeks, he and the other horsemen--Conquest, Famine, and Death--are brought together by a beautiful but frustratingly secretive girl to help save humanity from an ancient evil on the emergence.
They fail.
Now--bound, bloodied, and drugged--Gideon is interrogated by the authorities about his role in a battle that has become an international incident. If he stands any chance of saving his friends and the girl he's fallen for--not to mention all of humankind--he needs to convince the skeptical government officials the world is in imminent danger.
But will anyone believe him?

Veronica Rossi's Under the Never Sky series was one of my favorites from 2014.
I thought her writing was brilliant and let's just be honest:
Perry is a MAN.
I also read the first book in her new adult series, Boomerang.
I am very excited for Riders.
I think it has the potential to be the next big series in YA!
If you haven't read Ms. Rossi's books yet, I highly recommend you do!

Los Angeles. It’s been five years since the events of the Mortal Instruments when Nephilim stood poised on the brink of oblivion and Shadowhunter Emma Carstairs lost her parents. After the blood and violence she witnessed as a child, Emma has dedicated her life to to discovering exactly what it was that killed her parents and getting her revenge.
Raised in the Los Angeles Institute with the Blackthorn family, Emma is paired as a parabatai with her best friend, Julian Blackthorn. A series of murders in the city catch her attention — they seem to have the same characteristics as the deaths of her parents. Could the murderer be the same person? And her attention isn’t the only one caught: someone has been murdering Downworlders as well. The Fair Folk make a deal with the Institute: if the Blackthorns and Emma will investigate the killings, they’ll return Mark Blackthorn to his home. The catch: they have only two weeks to find the killers. Otherwise it’s open war between faeries and Nephilim.
The Shadowhunters of the Institute must race against time to catch the killers, even as they begin to suspect the involvement of those closest to them. At the same time, Emma is falling in love with the one person in the world she’s absolutely forbidden by Shadowhunter Law to love. Set against the glittering backdrop of present-day Los Angeles, Emma must learn to trust her head and her heart as she investigates a demonic plot that stretches from the warlock-run nightclubs of the Sunset Strip to the enchanted sea that pounds the beaches of Santa Monica... (Goodreads)
Bottom line on this one is that I CANNOT wait.
City of Heavenly Fire was not my favorite book in the TMI series...
But the characters we saw that will be the MCs in TDA were my favorite parts of CoHF.
This is also the first time I will be reading a Cassie Claire series as it is published.
Very exciting stuff!
